I have been a feverish soccer fan since I was 6 and started playing. Around the same time, my dad started taking my brother and me to matches for the Washington Diplomats in the old NASL, as well as the Baltimore Blast in the MISL.
All through growing up I played and attended matches. These days I play less and go to more matches. I’ve also coached my kids a bunch of times in Neighborhood Sports in west Austin.
My son loves playing and my daughters love the gameday atmosphere, and we go to matches all over.
