Austin FC has submitted bids to host the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup and the NCAA College Cup (men’s and women’s) for 2022 through 2025, according to Chris Bils.
In a series of Tweets, Bils also said Austin FC is interested in hosting any stage of the Concacaf Gold Cup tournament up to and including the semifinals.
And for the College Cup (final four), it could be any combination of the men’s and/or women’s tournaments, one year up to all four. A lot up in the air as far as college soccer seasons and what month(s) those championships will take place.
