I went to my first FC Austin Elite match last night and it was a lot of fun to see them beat the El Paso Surf 4-0. Are you wondering who FC Austin Elite is? Well, they are Austin’s pro-am women’s soccer team and will be finishing up their fifth season in a couple weeks.
FC Austin Elite will be playing their final home match of the regular season at Bold Stadium, home of Austin Bold FC.
That’s an awesome upgrade from the field from the last game. Don’t get me wrong – that was a gorgeous pitch, but it was a different atmosphere from a stadium where folks in attendance brought along their own chairs to sit alongside the action.
Playing at the stadium will be fun for players and fans alike. Bold Stadium is located at 9201 Circuit of the Americas Blvd, Del Valle, TX 78617.
The match is taking place at 7:30 PM on July 6 against the San Antonio Athenians.

FC Austin Elite plays in United Women’s Soccer, a second-division pro-am women’s soccer league behind the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
The team’s aim is to provide high-level local and collegiate players the opportunity to train in the offseason and to provide an exciting soccer experience for the Austin area.
