Major League Soccer has announced the match schedule and broadcast details for the Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs and 2022 MLS Cup.
Austin FC will host Real Salt Lake on Sunday, October 16 at Q2 Stadium with a 2:00 PM Central kickoff.
During the regular season, Austin FC defeated Real Salt Lake 3-0 on September 14 and lost to Real Salt Lake on May 14 in a 2-1 margin.
The match will be broadcast on ABC and ESPN Deportes.
On game day, the first 10,000 fans to Q2 Stadium will receive special edition YETI RAMBLER® 10oz tumblers.
Gates will open two hours before kickoff (30 minutes earlier than regular season matches).
The match will be the first playoff match in Austin FC’s young history, and the first major league playoff game ever to be played in Austin. Tickets sold out in minutes after going on-sale last week.
All matches played in the Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs are single-elimination matches.
