Austin FC is heading to the Nation’s Capitol on April 16, 2022, to face DC United, and there will be a large group of Austin FC supporters making the trip.
I am heading to the match with my son and can’t wait to watch Austin FC there – I grew up outside of Washington DC and went to countless Washington Diplomats games at the old RFK Stadium.
Back in 2018, I went with my son to Audi Field and we got to walk around and meet Wayne Rooney. It was a month after the Austin FC name and logo were revealed and I was sporting my new hat when I got to get a picture with Wazza.
It’s only a couple of weeks away, so get those flights and hotels set before the prices go up.
