Los Verdes and Soccer Assist coordinated a team of runners and fundraisers for the Austin Marathon, which took place on February 20, 2022, and over $20,000 was raised.
The Moody Foundation is matching the first 10K, so after costs (jerseys, giveaways, race entries, etc.) both Los Verdes and Soccer Assist will receive over $10,000 each.
The runners participated in the Austin Marathon, Half Marathon, 5k, and a large group also volunteered at a water station along the marathon route at mile 10.
