The U.S. Soccer Federation announced that Q2 Stadium, home of Austin FC, will be the host venue for the U.S. Men’s National Team’s Concacaf Nations League opening match against Grenada.
The June 10 match at Q2 Stadium will kick off the USA’s defense of the CNL title, with kickoff time and broadcast information to be finalized in the near future.
This will be the third time the USMNT has come to Austin. Both previous matches resulted in wins.
USMNT defeated Qatar 1-0 in the Gold Cup semifinals in July 2021 and then defeated Jamaica 2-0 during World Cup qualifying in October 2021.
Along with Grenada, the USMNT was drawn into Group D of the Nations League A with El Salvador. The U.S. will travel to face La Selecta on June 14 in San Salvador.
After an exciting 3-2 defeat of Mexico in extra time of the inaugural championship match, the USMNT opens its title defense during the upcoming June FIFA international window.
